A solid expertise

for a local support

 In 2005, two young development managers have decided to work in synergy with their technical, methodological and pedagogic expertise for creating the cabinet Baobab des saveurs.

It aims to assist the actors in agriculture and food processing in West Africa for promoting local products through:
  • Strengthening the manageral skills of  the operators,
  • Impoving the quality of products and production tools,
  • Testing and marketing new products,
  • Trade intermediation in a fair approach .
In parallel to this aspect "Studies and Consultancy", Baobab des saveurs has a craft processing workshop and  promotes local food products in a fair trade approach  with (women) group producers in  Sénégal.

That high technical experience in food processing  combined with its knowledge of rural areas and the international markert allows Baobab des saveurs to build a solid expertise in the following sectors :

  • technical partners (ENDA GRAF, ENDA DIAPOL, GRET, PERACOD), from a successful collaboration,
  • a directory of qualified ressource persons  at national and subregional levels on which it relies to bring together the speific skills to each mission,
  • Apropriate logistical means : functional offices, one Pick-Up, 2 laptops, 2 printers, specialised softwares, a local processing with equipement  (demonstration and possible training, locally),
and offers a  wide range of services to SME/SMIs, projects leaders, organisations,  NGOs and projects, local authorities according to their particulier needs :
