1 - Baobab fruit or booy in wolof language : baobab's fruit (one of the biggest tree in Senegal), it is transformed into drink, ice cream and used as binder in some meals like (laax, ngalax...).
2 - Hibiscus or bissap in wolof language : fruit of annual plant , it is used for making drinks, ice creams, marmalades... and even used in ceebu jėn, the national meal of Senegal.
3 - Millet or dugub in wolof language: cereal transformed into couscous, laax... It is mostly eaten by nights and during ceremonies.
4 - Peanut called gerte in wolof language: fruits of annual plant, they are eaten raw or roasted. Transformed into pasta, they are used for making sauces (mafe, daxin...)
5 - Jujube or sidčem in wolof language : small fruits of shrub suited to senegaalese climate.They are eaten as they are or transformed into cakes.
